SoEun Park

SoEun Park, who also goes by her nickname Sonya is a passionate artist and lifelong humanitarian, aspiring for everyone to be seen, felt, heard, and loved. As a junior at International Academy East, she is immersed in dance (particularly ballet and contemporary), painting, and drawing. She is an avid reader and writer that advocates for racial justice and inequality through art whether it is on paper or stage. Art has always been her outlet for creativity and relaxation and she loves experimenting with various techniques, materials, and styles. She is also the founder of Stairway For Ballet a Nonprofit Organization that has the mission of eliminating racism in the ballet world and the arts.
