Aanya Khan, Founder

Aanya Khan is a 16-year-old high school junior currently living in Pakistan. She is a recipient of the US Presidental Award of Academic Excellence and a five-time consecutive winner of the Arts Excellence Award. Aanya has actively volunteered for various NGOs and nonprofit organizations in Ghana, Pakistan as well as remotely. She is also the author of the graphic novel, "RAGDOLL." An educational literary work on child abuse and exploitation. Aanya formed virtuART as a way for young artists to do more with their artistic talents and platforms. Aanya hopes to utilize her humanitarian knowledge and encourage virtuART artists to do the same in not only their exhibition artwork submissions but in their everyday lives.

Youna Kang, Head Curator

Youna Kang is a senior in high school from Maryland who has spent her time
using her artistic skills to influence others. As a student who enjoys art, she also
had art lessons for young children virtually and face-to-face. She also had small
classes for elders at residential facilities before the pandemic. While her focus is on art, she also enjoys music, photography, and video editing. She is happy to be part of virtuART, and she is willing to help many artists to show their passion for art through exhibitions.

Eilleen Shin, Curator

Eilleen Shin is a senior in high school who lives in California. She moved to California from Korea when she was 8 years old. Art is a hobby that takes up a lot of her time, and she also loves to tumble. She has been cheering for 7 years and is on the cheer team of her high school. She hopes to major in psychology and go into the medical field in her future.
